The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has announced the launch of four investment opportunities to support the agricultural and livestock sectors in the Jazan region; to contribute to achieving self-sufficiency and food security; and to strengthen cooperation with the private sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Ministry explained that the investment opportunities include the establishment of an agricultural town in Al-Arish Governorate covering a total area of 82,659 square metres, for the cultivation of fruit trees, the construction of a marketing services building, and support for the agricultural sector in the region, noting that the deadline for applying for this opportunity is 6 January 2026.
She added that the second investment opportunity involves the construction of hydroponic greenhouses in the province of Dhamad, covering a total area of 18,599 square metres, for the cultivation of vegetables and agricultural crops and to contribute to food security, noting that the deadline for applications for this opportunity is 5 January 2026.
The Ministry noted that the other two opportunities are within the livestock sector, involving investment in the rearing, fattening and production of red meat in the Farasan Islands Governorate, covering a total area of 250,000 square metres for the first opportunity and 160,000 square metres for the second; this is to support the livestock sector, and to contribute to achieving self-sufficiency in red meat, noting that the deadline for applications for both opportunities is 7 January 2026.
The Ministry has invited investors wishing to apply for these opportunities to obtain the tender documents via the ‘Fursat’ platform, and to take advantage of investment opportunities in the agricultural and livestock sectors in order to contribute to achieving food security.
