The Ministry of Environment presents an investment opportunity for horse breeding and production, supporting the livestock sector in the Eastern Province.

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture announced four investment opportunities to support the agricultural and livestock sectors in the Jazan region, contributing to self-sufficiency and food security, while also strengthening cooperation with the private sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Ministry explained that the investment opportunities include the establishment of an agricultural city in Al-Arish Governorate, covering a total area of ​​82,659 square meters, for the cultivation of fruit trees and the construction of a marketing services building. The deadline for applications for this opportunity is January 6, 2026.

The Ministry added that the second investment opportunity involves the establishment of greenhouses using hydroponic farming systems in Damad Governorate, covering a total area of ​​18,599 square meters, for the cultivation of vegetables and other crops, contributing to food security. The deadline for applications for this opportunity is January 5, 2026.

The Ministry indicated that two other opportunities fall within the livestock sector, for investment in breeding, fattening, and red meat production in the Farasan Islands Governorate. The first opportunity covers a total area of ​​250,000 square meters, and the second covers 160,000 square meters. These opportunities aim to support the livestock sector and contribute to achieving self-sufficiency in red meat. The deadline for applications for both opportunities is January 7, 2026.

The Ministry invites investors interested in applying for these opportunities to obtain the terms and specifications booklet through the “Fursah” platform and to benefit from investing in the agricultural and livestock sectors to contribute to achieving food security.
